Stephen Smith is an investment adviser with a passion for helping others feel more confident about their financial future. He takes great pride in offering his clients a first-class service experience like no other, based on their wants and needs. Because every individual is unique with different hopes and dreams, he believes that financial planning should begin with the client, not the products, and that everyone deserves a holistic approach to retirement. He does this by listening first and recommending second. He loves the moment when the lightbulb clicks on, and his clients realize they don’t have to live in uncertainty and fear while taking unnecessary risks, in order to enter retirement feeling confident and excited about the years ahead.
Stephen brings over 25 years of experience to the team at Alloy Wealth and is a longtime friend and colleague of the firm’s founder, CEO Mark Henry. Stephen decided to join the firm in the fall of 2023. Before serving in the financial sector, he pursued a Business degree at Georgia State University. He holds the FINRA Series 65 and North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia Insurance licenses. In addition, he is working toward his CFP®.
Stephen is married to his lovely wife Bre and has two sons, Evan and Trevor. When out of the office, they spend their free time doing activities as a family. Stephen and his family are also active in their local church.
